This is Adult blind and handicapped occasional Training Centre. This centre started on April 1st 1990. Thiru.V.K.Subburaj I.A.S. Collector of Erode inaugurated this centre. Yearly 30 Blind students got job oriented Training here.This training conducted by the private sectors.
Last 20 years more than 300 blinds got employment because of the job oriented Training. We have done 30 free marriages for the blinds. These marriages done by the V.I.P.’s, Tamilnadu Government Finance Minister Thiru. E.RA. Nedunjeliyan, Congress President Thiru. G.K.Muppanar and Central Minister Thiru. Arunachalam.
This Centre’s Occasional trainings and Note book Manufacturing, Book Binding, Card Board Boxes Manufacturing, Araka Plates manufacturing, and Nails Cutting. All this 35 members getting 1500 rupess from an association per month as a stipend.
